Todos Santos is a small town in Huehuetenango, located in one of the highest areas of Guatemala called Cordillera de Los Cuchumatanes. It has a unique microclimate, created by warm updrafts from the plains of Tehuantepec mixing with the cooler air descending from the Cuchumatanes Mountains, fostering high-quality coffees. In this region, it’s common for single producers to grow, harvest, and process their own coffee: usually 20-30 bags per year.
This lot comes from Juan Escobar Gaspar, one of the producers in this community; by separating these lots, the production practices of the individual producers are placed in the spotlight.
