This single-farmer lot was chosen as one of the best coffees from Peru this year by Origin Coffee Labs, a project started by Alex Julca and José Rivera to bring Peruvian coffees the deserved recognition for quality.
It was fermented “dry”, without submerging in water, in small tanks for around 14 hours. This lot is 3.5 acres, and comes from one producer’s farm to highlight the careful processing and good practices he employs. The result is a wonderfully sweet cup, offering some of the best qualities we’ve seen in Peruvian coffees.
