Meet the Staff

Aaron MacDougall

Owner & Roaster

2017 has been a big year for Aaron. Even prior to opening Broadsheet Coffee in July, he won Genuine Origin’s inaugural Roast and Go roasting competition (winning a trip to Honduras) and placed 5th in the United States Cup Tasters Championships. Aaron is a licensed Q-grader who has been roasting coffee since 2011 and who couldn’t be more excited to be working in coffee and doing so in his hometown. In a prior life, Aaron was a Managing Director at a big investment bank, running an international trading and financing business. Aaron is a graduate of Harvard College, just down the street from the shop.

Wolf Barn Marnell

Retail Manager and Beverage Director

Wolf is a long-time Camberville resident who developed his chops in coffee, training, and management as Director of Coffee for Pavement Coffeehouse in Boston. He has long been involved in the United States Barista Competition as a judge, coach and competitor, and is a certified instructor for the Barista Guild of America.

Before working in the coffee industry, Wolf dabbled in knitwear design and studied classical languages and literature (primarily ancient Greek) at Dartmouth College. Now when he’s not doing coffee things, Wolf can often be found outdoors taking advantage of New England’s awesome scenery by cycling or rock climbing – or at home with his wife and cat.

Darine Hazboun

Food Director & Pastry Chef

Darine, a third generation baker, spent ten years as an interior designer before reverting back to her original passion, baking. Taking advantage of Cambridge’s educational opportunities, she earned her Professional Pastry degree at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts with honors and a LeNôtre award. After graduation, she developed a great reputation and strong customer following as the head of the pastry department at the Loading Dock in Belmont. Darine’s food inspirations are the flavors of the Mediterranean and South American fusions.

In her free time, Darine enjoys reading a cookbook, baking a batch of recipes she’s never done before and gathering with friends and family to enjoy them.
